In October, Copperleaf\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0hosted its first Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) Summit in magnificent Tokyo, Japan. We welcomed almost 40 clients and partners across APJ from the energy, water, and chemicals industries, and were privileged to host special guests\u00a0Mark Tuggle<\/a>\u00a0from the US and\u00a0Chris Royce<\/a>\u00a0from the UK.<\/p>\n

Over three days,\u00a0our Community<\/a> networked, exchanged knowledge and ideas, and participated in client-led sessions on topics such as managing a dynamic incentive-based regulatory environment, transforming asset management decision making, and value-based asset management for electric distribution.<\/p>\n

Llewellyn Treadway<\/a>, Asset Risk Manager at Powerco provided insights on a collaborative project undertaken with Copperleaf to measure Powerco\u2019s Triple Bottom Line and better integrate ESG into its business operations.\u00a0Gina Pavlovic<\/a>, Manager of Sustainability and Environment at Endeavour Energy, led an interactive discussion on sustainable investment. She shared how Copperleaf has helped Endeavour Energy turn ESG objectives into operational plans by expanding its value framework to include ESG-related measures that are aligned with its corporate objectives.<\/p>\n
